In this journey of transformation, I’ve come to understand the lasting ripples that past experiences has left behind—the ways my mind and body have been numbed, sometimes unable to function or self-regulate. Recognizing how trauma and abuse have impacted me has been crucial in discovering the paths to healing. I’ve found space to unlearn old patterns and relearn from the flow of water—its currents, its resilience, and its freedom to take new shapes. Water has taught me that transformation is continuous, that we can shift and evolve while still remaining whole. In water, I see myself—I am made of it, and one day, I will return to its flow. I’ve witnessed my past self slowly changing, growing into something new, yet always present within me. And as ripples form, I can envision my future self emerging from who I am today.
